Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has called on video technology to be introduced into the Premiership.
Ferguson hinted that video technology has been used but only when it has suited the authorities.
“It’s interesting because I don’t think there is any doubt that in the World Cup final the fourth official sent off Zinedine Zidane after viewing the incident on a TV screen,” said the Scot.
“They take advantage when it suits them but in 99% of cases - like in goal-line decision-making - they’re not.
“I think technology will eventually come - maybe not in my lifetime but it will come.”

Looks like Chelsea’s boss Jose Mourinho will be given the boot by the end of the season, if this news is any indication of the truth.
Ever since the launch of Chelsea’s new website and rumours that Roman Abramovich was starting to dictate transfer policy, it looked as though the Russian was looking to dazzle fans with a slick image off the pitch and a view to playing attacking, stylish football like that of Barcelona and Arsenal.
It now seems he also wants big names at the club, with the seemingly imminent arrival of Fabio Cannavaro. Media sources report that Abramovich wants to copy the financial success of Madrid’s “Galacticos” policy in the style of Barcelona and Ronaldinho, whom I’m sure Chelsea will try to buy next summer.
So it is inevitable that Jose Mourinho will see the door at the end of the season. He probably wants to go now but Abramovich will wait until the end of the campaign, when it will be easier to sign the best possible manager who will not have to deal with the pressures of a team chasing the league title.
Sebastian Chabal is back and more news about Jonny Wilkinson, England’s answer to Zinedine Zidane.
Skrela has also benefited from a long-term knee injury to the No 1 choice, Frederic Michalak, and the decision to withdraw Damien Traille yesterday due to hip and knee problems.
By pairing Skrela and Pierre Mignoni at halfback, Laporte has now selected 28 different combinations since he took command after the 2001 World Cup. In between naming his team, Laporte welcomed the return of Jonny Wilkinson to the international stage and likened him to the French footballer Zinedine Zidane. “If Wilko is back to his best, there are few players like him. He’s England’s Zidane and when he returned it was much better,” Laporte said.
Seems that there is a new player that is touted to be the next version of Zidane for England. Will that come true in the future?
The 27-year-old Wilkinson is set to make his first international appearance for over three years, which would be his 53rd cap, in England’s opening Six Nations clash at Twickenham on Saturday.
He has endured a devastating run of injuries since kicking the extra-time drop-goal that secured England’s World Cup final victory over Australia in Sydney in November 2003 and has since missed the last 30 Tests.
Laporte said of Wilkinson: “If Wilkinson is back to his best, there are few players like him about. He’s their (Zinedine) Zidane and when he returned (to the French team), it was much better.
“If he (Wilkinson) returns, it is clear that England are going to perform better. If he starts the match, that will be because he is back to his best. They aren’t going to field a player who limps!”
Wilkinson returns to Test duty despite having played barely 50 minutes of club rugby for Newcastle following his recovery from a lacerated kidney and with England desperate to return to winning ways after a run of eight defeats in their last nine Tests.
Well I am certainly in the market looking for furnitures for my home, and I found this website which gives a good range of choices on the kind of furniture or interior decorating styles that you are interested in. It is fascinating to see the types or designs of the chairs and tables that are on offer. I like the way the site categories the furniture as it allows for easy navigation. Prices are not bad at all and is a good deal. I really need an office chair by the way, since the one I am currently using is a bit imbalanced, and I might fall off it anytime! So if you are looking for furniture, whether it is for your office or for your home, then look no further than this site. Try it out, you will not regret it.

Hohoho, this is awfully funny. Materazzi being head-butted once again! Well, its not Zidane this time
Italian defender Marco Materazzi, famous for being head-butted by Zinedine Zidane during the FIFA World Cup 2006 - has been head-butted again.
In a Serie A match between Inter Milan and Sampdoria on Sunday night in Genoa, Materazzi was head-butted by Sampdoria midfielder Gennaro Delvecchio on the chin.
After a late challenge on Inter keeper Julio Cesar, Materazzi got into an angry exchange with Delvecchio after which the incident took place.
The Sampdoria player was sent off in seventh minute for the assault.
