My cousin is on the school basketball team, he plays competitive basketball and does it very well too. He is not that tall (I am much taller!) but while I don’t play basketball, he prefers the joy of dribbling the ball with your hands and shooting it into the hoop. Actually that is not really my idea of fun, I have always been a football (not American football) player and was on the school team once. Perhaps if I were exposed earlier to the sport I would have taken up basketball but then again, I might have not. One can never just tell.
Anyway, I do know for a fact that he has been saving up some money to set up a basketball court in the compound of his house. Since those things are quite expensive, perhaps I should get for him an in-ground basketball hoops, I am sure that he will enjoy this gift from me. Now he will be able to practice his basketball skills and maybe invite his friends over for a short match. Then he can improve his game and who knows? He can join the state team and be a national champion. Now that is something which I should help a person achieve.
