Really funny scenario comparing the Super Bowl and World Cup 2006 finals, and which final moment has an “edge” over the other.
The Super Bowl and World Cup final are two of the biggest games in all of sports, and in a span of seven months staff reporter Luis Arroyave witnessed both. From before, during and after, here’s a comparison of the Bears-Colts Super Bowl and the France-Italy World Cup final.
Check out the dialogues too, this is the best one that I like the most:
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT
WORLD CUP: Zidane floors Italy’s Marco Materazzi with a head-butt to the chest and is ejected.
SUPER BOWL: Devin Hester becomes the first to return the opening kickoff of a Super Bowl for a touchdown.
EDGE: World Cup
The head-butt became an instant YouTube classic, but Hester’s TD lost some significance with the Bears’ loss.
