Zidane the flawed genius

Zidane is a flawed genius? There was certainly no fairytale ending to Zinedine Zidane’s storybook career at the World Cup Final 2006.

The 34-year-old Frenchman steps down from his position as the greatest player of his generation, having tasted success at World Cup, European Championship and Champions League level.

But alongside his three World Player of the Year awards and his La Liga and Serie A titles, Zidane’s career will be forever remembered for a moment of madness on the world’s biggest stage.

It was a night when his reputation was tainted forever - when he showed he could not control his temper like he can a football.

An ugly departure for someone whose artistry so often lit up the beautiful game.

Hey,it’s not difficult, just understand what happend that night and GET OVER IT … let it go!! It was SUCH a long time ago … we have long forgiven ZZ and we have long forgotten. You are so wrong to say that his reputation will be forever tainted by that unfortunate incident. It was always ZZ’s passion that produced such magic with the ball and it was his passion that made him respond the way he did to that ‘rat’. As the great man said, “there’s more to life than football”.I sincerely hope that he is discovering and doing all that he was ever meant to discover and do.Why don’t you just get on with doing the same in you life. Zinedine Zidane will forever be LEGEND!!! Rat or no rat!
