Solving hair loss

Most men above the age of 25 suffer from male baldness and football stars like Zinedine Zidane are certainly no exception. Of course one can hide this embarrasment by wearing a toupe, but for how long will this strategy work? It would perhaps be best to seek treatment for the baldness that you experience in order to restore your lost hair. One can take a look at the various surgeons who are specialists in hair treatment and seek out their advice on how to proceed with the treatment. Certainly you will not regret visiting your nearest hair specialist and consult his advice in order to restore your hair.

Even fans would want more than just star

Part of a movie review of the latest movie on Zidane. Of interest is the following comment:

Let’s accept the consensus of soccer aficionados that Zinedine Zidane of France is the best player of recent years.

His reputation seems to have remained intact even after his head butt in the World Cup final match in 2006. He was ejected from the game, and his French team lost to Italy.

A superstar in a globally popular team sport deserves a feature-length documentary. It could show what drives the man, where he came from, how he trains, how he lives away from the pitch. It ought to have cultural resonance because Zidane, a French hero, is of Algerian descent.

And of course we agree with this assessment!

Climate change wakeup call

Dear friends,

We’ve seen it all around us: droughts, hurricanes, weird weather and wild storms. Then last week, a major new report by over 2000 climate scientists ended all debate: climate change is real- we’ve caused it- and its impact will be catastrophic unless urgent action is taken.

Our leaders can stop this, but they’ve been too slow to act. This week, we’re launching a global TV ad campaign on 3 continents to wake world leaders up to the disaster we’re facing. Click below to watch our TV ad on our new website and sign the petition calling for urgent action now.

Experts agree: we are fast approaching the point of no return. If the world’s temperature rises by even 2 degrees Celsius the consequences for life on earth will be devastating.

This problem can be solved. We need a new international agreement that commits countries to major emission cuts, and drives a global shift to renewable energy. This will require bold political action — and not just by one or two countries.

Climate change is a global problem that requires global action. It is time for people around the world to send a global wake up call to our leaders - before it is too late. Click here to send them a message:

The leaders of the world’s most polluting countries will be meeting in Germany this June. The priorities for this summit are being decided right now.

Public awareness of the climate threat around the world is reaching fever pitch. Now the argument is over - it’s time to focus our energy on building a global movement to make our leaders act. Watch our TV ad and add your voice to the wake up call:

It’s not too late to protect our planet - but the moment is now. Please sign the petition, post it on your blog or favourite listserve, forward this email to your friends and family - and tell everyone you know.

Alone, we can’t stop this disaster. But if we act together today, 2007 could become the year we took the first step to save the world.

With hope,

Beckham again left off Madrid squad

Becks is left out yet again of the starting lineup of Real Madrid.

David Beckham was again omitted Saturday when Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello named his squad for a league game with Levante.

It is almost a month since Beckham last appeared for Madrid — as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna on Jan. 7 — although he was sidelined for the last two games through injury.

Media reports had suggested that Capello would recall Beckham, who he has dropped since the midfielder announced on Jan. 11 he would join Los Angeles Galaxy in August.

Beckham has signed a five-year deal with the Galaxy, reportedly worth more than US$250 million (€193 million). Madrid had offered Beckham a two-year extension to his current contract, which runs until the end of June.

Beckham is the only member of Madrid’s quartet of star players, nicknamed “The Galacticos”, who still remains at the club. But it seems that there is no benefit staying there any longer. Time to make that move to the Land of the Free, dude!
