Becks is left out yet again of the starting lineup of Real Madrid.
David Beckham was again omitted Saturday when Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello named his squad for a league game with Levante.
It is almost a month since Beckham last appeared for Madrid — as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna on Jan. 7 — although he was sidelined for the last two games through injury.
Media reports had suggested that Capello would recall Beckham, who he has dropped since the midfielder announced on Jan. 11 he would join Los Angeles Galaxy in August.
Beckham has signed a five-year deal with the Galaxy, reportedly worth more than US$250 million (€193 million). Madrid had offered Beckham a two-year extension to his current contract, which runs until the end of June.
Beckham is the only member of Madrid’s quartet of star players, nicknamed “The Galacticos”, who still remains at the club. But it seems that there is no benefit staying there any longer. Time to make that move to the Land of the Free, dude!

Of course we stand by our fellow bloggers Jeff Ooi and Rocky. Not sure why are they being sued in the first place but of course we specialise in headbutts. In fact it would be our outmost pleasure if one could arrange Zizou a meeting with NST officials…we would like to present a gift of headbutting them into oblivion.
We doubt that is going to happen anytime soon, though.
We have just upgraded this blog from Wordpress 2.0.3 to the latest version of Wordpress 2.0.7. This upgrade contains various security fixes and features that will load this blog faster and serve you better. Please continue to visit this blog and give your feedback. In the coming days we will be posting news not on just Zidane, but local and world football as well.
Zidane has retired after all and it will not be long before news about Zidane will lose its lusture. When I first started this blog, I thought that I will only make this blog available for a year. However this blog has been accepted into Blogitive and PayPerPost and has carved a niche of its own in sports — particularly football, a game that I really love and played with a passion when I was younger.
We will certainly evolve. We probably will not be focused on Zinedine Zidane anymore (although we will retain the name of the blog!) but our niche is carved and we will stay on the World Wide Web for a long as it takes. It is not the money that we are after, but the passion of blogging about The Beautiful Game.
And by doing that, we also ensure that Zidane’s name will never be forgotten in the annals of history.
Apologies to residents of PPS due to the sudden ping flood from We Love Zinedine Zidane. This is a technical error beyond our control. It will not happen again
We would like to wish all Muslims Eid Mubarak! in conjunction with Eid al-Adha, 10 Dhul-Hijjah and the Christians a Merry Xmas in conjunction with 25th December 2006. We will not be publishing any articles for the whole week in celebration of these concurrent festivals
